Dr.
Robert (Bob) Mooty came to TCC as the Associate Pastor in December
of 1988. After the retirement of founding Pastor John W. Johnson,
Bob became Senior Pastor on July 1, 1991. He had previously
served as an Associate Minister at Gordon Street Church in Kinston,
NC and Pastor/Developer of Covenant Christian Church in Cary,
NC. He has Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees
from Lexington
Theological Seminary in Lexington, KY. |

TCC's
hand bell choir director, Carol Haertel, has served the church
since 1995. Carol has been instrumental in developing our music
program during her tenure. Composing and arranging music herself,
she is truly a very talented individual. |
Mark Angle
|
|
Dr. Mark Angle began work as TCC's
Choir director/organist in October of 2003. In his current
role as Director of Music, Mark is responsible for coordinating
musicians for the 9:00 AM worship service, leading the Chancel
Choir, and serving as organist for our traditional worship service.
Although Mark has many years experience in church music, his
full time job is Regional Adult Education Program Manager.
In this role, he coordinate Adult Education and GED programs for
Nelson, Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, and Lynchburg
City.
He and his wife, Michelle, have one son, Andrew Blake. |

Linda
Maedjaja is the Church's secretary and has been serving TCC
since 1996. Her normal hours are 8:00-1:00, Wednesday through
Friday. Linda also serves as our Financial Secretary. |

Zack
Jones
|
|
Our
Youth Director is Zack Jones, a member of the church, youth
group alumnus and student at CVCC. Zack started in this position
in September of 2007 and works part time. Zack brings energy
and dedication to the youth and education programs of TCC. |
